Default Why do you do parkour?

Everyone will have different reasons for why they train.

I want to know what your reasons are.

I'll drop a pretty lengthy post after a view replys.

So why do you do parkour?

freedom to do things differently, and to see life in a new light. Whenever I'm out I'm always thinking about how I could get over obstacles

Scott like you, it's gonna be a write up job for me. I'll get to it when I have time this week.

I reckon we need some mods, delete and ban user someone.

I do parkour for the thrills and the fact that I want to be able to beat any limits, plus I like climbing...not like a monkey...more like a cat, like my cat, Jimmy, the female cat!

It's also great fun!

Default Why i do parkour...

I do it because i like to challage myself. if there is something i cant do i will keep on trying it
until i get it...

I also do it for the feeling you get when you are training...
Parkour/Freerunning is one of the best experiences you can get from life...

I also like it when there is a crowd of people around me and my friends when we
are training and showing off.

Parkour is my life...

I've not done anything I would class as real Parkour yet, but I've always enjoyed leapfrogging poles around town, walking along walls, clambering over fences etc lol. I like the idea of just looking at the environment around us as a big playpark and not obeying the conventional wisdom on what to do when confronted with an obstacle. Plus I just feel pretty good after going to the gym regularly since December, and I want to do something fun with my newfound fitness levels
