No worries flan, I might try that.

Ali thanks for the link.
I have a couple of those little tubs. The way to make it work best is to get a hot cloth and hold it on the sore area for 1min or so first. Once your pores are open take a decent amount of TigerBalm and rub it in like a mad man. After you feel the area heat up due to friction rub for 30seconds more. Then in like 1min you will feel it big time.

Heh thankfully I stopped before I started getting any pain in day to day activities. The day I stopped doing any more jumps I was getting pain at a certain knee angle just when supporting my own bodyweight, but now I can squat on my toes or kick up to a handstand without anything more than a slight rise in the dull ache that is usually there.

I'm gonna keep doing bodyweight squats every couple of days and hopefully I'll be able to do some basic vaults by the Glasgow workshop without damaging it - though I'm thinking I should probably take it easy with even small drops for another month or two after that. I was actually trying to take things slow but I guess I need to go even slower.. as in not doing 100 reps of a 2-3 foot jump up to a wall then back down, like I did a couple of weeks ago.. lol, I'll maybe start again with 20-30 reps for a few weeks.

How's your own knee doing?

It's not to bad now. It's fine for walking on, it's pretty weak now tho.

Not really sure exactly what I did which is annoying - theres a few possible reasons for it . I'm not gonna be training for the next few weeks anyway while I fix it up.

Hope you are feeling better now for the glasgow workshop.

Likewise my knees feel pretty decent in daily activites now, but it's deceptive because if I push too much I can still feel that it isn't perfect.

I did some training last Saturday and my knee was surprisingly good for the first few hours - I made sure to warm my legs up slowly and was careful about drops. By the end of the afternoon it was starting to hurt a bit tho, possibly just from cooling down from lack of activity as we walked between spots.

Gonna keep resting it until Glasgow and hopefully should be good for the day, though I think I'm gonna have to keep being really careful for a while after that when konging up to higher levels and dropping etc.

One thing that doesn't help, I tend to bang my knees every so often when doing climb-ups or rolls and that really doesn't help things.. so now my other knee is sore too xD but at least I know it's just bruised. I am seriously considering wearing kneepads until I get my climb-ups perfected lol.
