With the letters A - P - K joined together?

I don't have any art skills but I think this a awesome idea Darren.

My suggestion would be that it should be more 'flowy,wavy,moving,arty,alive-think vine growing' rather than ' blocky,straight lines, fixed'. If that doesn't make sense i'll get some examples with other logos to highlight what I mean.

If we get some more ideas in and get a general consesus then I'll get my brother to make up some stuff - hes pretty awesome with photoshop.

That's a fun idea, though I googled and [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] ). Maybe we should think of a different name or acronym so that people don't think we're part of their group? They are both to do with Parkour after all, and American Parkour sounds like it will be slightly better known than the Aberdeen group xD

Most of the ideas I'd have would probably be too cheesy but what about making a name around the "Granite City" theme of Aberdeen? Granite Or Die - that would make us the GOD squad xD hahaha. But really maybe something mixing Granite with something flowy-sounding, because to do Parkour you have to become both pretty hardened but also fluid.

But one question, would/should "the glyph" be incorporated into the design?

As atm it's probably the most recognised symbol of PK/FR. I think it looks pretty cool and it's probably got the "rally round" effect as it's the most widely recognised but it might not look right and I dunno if we would want to associate ourselves too much with Urban Freeflow.

This is a cool idea, it will be good to see every ones idea's.

I have designed a whole bunch of different logos over the years so I will post them as I come across them. My latest idea I had was used in one of my previous template ideas for the website i drafted up in 2008. If you look in the upper right hand corner you will see the logo!
Maybe we could incorporate that idea into another design with more fitting text or whatever. Let me know what you think.

A very simple thing I've just patched together in a couple minutes on some logo creator, to get ideas flowing. The symbol means bravery, which seemed fitting

Hmm my other post said it was "awaiting moderation" and still hasn't appeared yet.

Yeah I thought the logo in Danno's sig is really cool, and if simplified down a bit would work well on a t-shirt - the one in the top right of the blue pic looks perfect

My only worry about "APK" is that it's already being used by americanparkour.com , so was wondering if we should use something other than APK for t-shirts and stuff? I thought maybe something to do with the Granite City, like "Granite River" or something less cheesy something both solid and flowing like a well trained traceur lol xD

Danno I'm loving the logo at the top. If you were to put some letters on it that would be ideal.

Fyi that was done in paint in like 10seconds just to highlight what I mean.

I prefer the top one personally.

Also I don't think that APK being in use is a problem. I'm like 99.9% sure that you can't copyright an abbreviation.
